Thursday, January 24, Visit & Astronaut Hall of Fame

Packed up the computer and went to the clubhouse for internet. It is a clear morning, 8C (46.4F). Emailed some friends to line up visits. While I was still there, Pat Henning called & we arranged to meet at their place & go for lunch.

At 10:45, we were off to “The Great Outdoors RV Nature & Golf Resort” (www.tgoresort.com) in Titusville.

Wow! What a huge place! There are more tan 2500 sites ranging from permanent homes, seasonal sites and RV sites. They have a lovely winter home there and we enjoyed reminiscing about our RV adventures with MB and Wagon Trains. Next, we went for a nice lunch at the Jukebox Café, a restaurant on the property.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After a pleasant visit, we left & went to the Astronaut Hall of Fame, which was included on our Kennedy Space Centre ticket. It is a beautiful day, 22C (71.6F).

We spent the rest of the day there, until 4:30. It is very well laid out and packed with information and displays about the space program and the astronauts. We signed up to be on the next shuttle flight!

After a full day, we returned to the park at 5:15.
