Friday, Oct 5, Moving campground & Boston

Beautiful sunny day, 18C as we head south around Boston to the Boston/Cape Cod KOA. After a long 80 minute drive, we arrived, set up & had a quick lunch. Then it was off to the Quincy Adams MBTA subway stop to go in to Boston. Yesterday we took the Green Line, today it is the Red Line.

We arrived at the Aquarium stop, then split up. Terry & Sharon got on the Trolley to complete the route, while we went to the New England Aquarium. www.neaq.org

We saw sting rays in the "touch tank",

              Beautiful jellyfish of all colours

Little Blue Penguins at feeding time - they are the smallest penguins in the world

There were Sea Dragons that looked like plants.....
And tiny Sea Horses - this one was about 2 inches long

After touring the Aquarium, we walked around Faneuil Square. The Faneuil Hall Marketplace often is cited as Boston's foremost urban attraction. Here you'll come across jugglers, magicians and other entertainers performing before ever-changing crowds. We were fortunate to see some acrobatics.  This fella was balanced on one hand!
We met up with Terry & Sharon at Feneuil Hall, a 1743 building which contains more than 125 restaurants, boutiques, produce stands & retail pushcarts. We each had our own choice for supper from the many vendors. Sharon worked her way through a huge chicken parmesan sandwich.
After supper, it was back to the subway, then drive back to the campground. Another long day!
